About us

OpenSTEM has been created through a passion for STEM based education. We have been working both in the classroom and on STEM projects for over 10 years and felt we could provide our services to support the wider industry in encouraging future generations to get involved in STEM careers.

Stuart has worked as both an engineer and a teacher and is always looking at finding ways of integrating hands on experiences in learning. As a fan of LEGO since a young child he specialises in using LEGO Education products in new and inspiring ways.

Pippa has always had a love of Science. She completed her degree in Geology and then has gone on to teach both Chemistry and Physics so has a broad knowledge of the science curriculum. With a personal passion in astronomy Pippa can often be found on a cold evening stargazing across the sky.
